For all new tenancies you will receive a copy of our fees included within your tenancy agreement. This will include details of everything which is payable before, during and after your tenancy. This will also include confirmation of the agreed rent and agreed security deposit.
Below is a list of our current permitted payments:
Security Deposit - this will be no more than 5 weeks rent
Unpaid Rent - we reserve the right to charge interest at 3% above the Bank of England Base Rate from the Rent Due Date until paid. Please note this will not be levied until the rent is more than 14 days in arrears.
Lost Keys or Fobs - tenants will be liable for the actual cost of replacing any keys or fobs. If the loss results in the need to change the locks, the actual cost of a locksmith, new locks and replacement of keys for the agent, tenants and landlord will be charged to the tenant.
Variation of Contract (at the tenant's request) - £50 (inc VAT) per agreed variation
Change of sharer (at the tenant's request) - £50 (inc VAT) per replacement tenant, or any other reasonable costs incurred if higher.
Early Termination (at the tenant's request) - If the tenant requests to leave the contract early then they will be liable for the landlord's costs in re-letting the property as well as all rent due under the tenancy agreement until the start date of the replacement tenancy. These costs will not exceed the maximum amount of rent outstanding on the tenancy.
